  • Dang this looks good! I really hope this comes stateside!

And for everyone who has issues with the collection, I agree that they should have made one whole collection with all of the games (because I know a Blu-Ray disc can hold them all), but with this announcement, you know that 2.5 (or whatever it will be called) will be along with KH2 Final Mix, Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and probably HD cutscenes from Re:Coded. (Re:Coded imo was just a handheld version of KH1, but the end has some good cutscenes that lead in to KH3D and ties the series together).

And I thought I remember reading somewhere that Nomura wanted to make 358/2 Days in the style of KH1, 2 and Re:COM, but it probably was going to take too much time, so they are giving us the original cutscenes, plus dialog not in cutscenes in HD.  I would have loved to play it to, but really, at this point, just getting story and plot points is fine with me.

And if you want some more knowledge going forward, check out this video playlist I made with cutscenes from the handheld games that are important to the plot.

  • they may be milking this HD collection (by releasing it in two installments), but I still want it released state side.

  • Listen, dude, I am just fine with this. K? HD is great, love it, really, but for God's sake, CAN YOU JUST MAKE KINGDOM HEARTS 3 AND BE DONE WITH IT?
  • Sooo awesome. I'm betting the States will get their copy soon enough. Hopefully in less than a year. And I'm betting we'll get a different version of it than the Japanese do. We'll probably get KH, KH2, and Re:Chain. Ya'll know how Japan always does things differently than the U.S.

  • HOLY CRAP THAT SCENE WAS NOT IN 358/2 THEY MUST BE REMAKING IT 100%

  • We in America will get screwed out of this like all the other great compilations.

  • Whoa, the scenes of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days was amazing

  • Can't wait to play kingdom hearts again

  • How does this game play? I always wanted this since I was a kid but never got it
  • As long as they fix the camera and the item system on Kingdom Hearts 1, I'll be a very happy camper.

  • *amaze*

  • Looks amazing. It would fantastic to have a complete English version of Final Mix. And the 358 cutscenes look fantastic in comparison to how they were on the DS!

  • Wow...is it me or does this look way better than the originals?! I've never been a HUGE fan of HD remakes, mainly because I don't see such a good difference from the original...but MAN this really surprised me. Looks awesome!

  • I'm wrong to hold out hope that they are using the KH1 system for Re:Chains instead of that crappy card system, aren't I?
  • Marluxia's hair looks even better in HD.

  • I'll be preordering this as soon as they announce an NA release date :D

  • I wish that KH2 was included in this package. It's okay though. I will definitely be picking this up if they ship it to the States. I really hope they do.

  • Goofy and Donald in japanese... strange. And 358/2 days isn't playable? Just it's cutscenes? That's even lamer than what i had originally thought. So, basically, this is a collection of 1 game, as chain of memories is a card battle re-hash of Kingdom Hearts 1. That's pathetic.

  • This looks alright, not really fond on how the 358/2 days is only cutscenes. I mean honestly, if this gets shipped here, i might pick it up. I would of liked to see Birth By Sleep or something also included. Been a KH fan for so long but im tired of waiting for 3. Square needs to just hurry up and make it. These little games and remakes are cutting it for anyone.
