Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars

New Video Highlights Fuuko

Atlus has released another video in its Meet series for Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars, this time introducing you to Fuuko. Fuuko is friendly and down-to-earth, but deadly with her dual pistols.

Conception II is a mix of a relationship simulator and RPG, where the main character must go through a “classmating” ritual with the female classmates to create Star Children for battle. To meet more of the game’s heroines, check out their character bios here. The previous Meet video introduced us to Torri, who sports a massive gatling gun.

If you’re interested in giving Conception II a try, you can pick up the demo on March 25. Conception II will be available in full on April 15 for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita for $39.99. Conception II will come to Europe at a later date, but will only be available as a digital download.

The first-run of the game will include a special box and soundtrack. Those who pre-order are guaranteed to get a first-run copy with the 10-track CD.

  • This game is going to be so weird.

  • This game will be uncomfortably weird.

  • The first two comments kind of sum up this game to me. It'll be interesting to see if Atlus can handle this in a mature way. The problem is there is a stigma against sexual content in video games more than other mediums, like movies.
  • I can't wait to play this game

  • This game seems so incredibly weird to me. I don't really get the concept I guess (pun not intended). Maybe the game would be more interesting if I had any idea what was supposed to be going on. As much as I like RPGs, I have absolutely no interest in the relationship sim elements, so I'll most likely pass on this game. Also...creating children for battle? I guess it's a way for this game to be different from most RPGs: improving your character by creating life, as opposed to taking it away. But, It's not really handled in a way that's appealing to me from what I've seen so far.
  • I love quirky Japanese games.

  • I can't wait for the demo to come on the E-Shop. I really want to see the battle system.

  • I still have to tell that other girl some things.

  • I like the quotes around "classmating"

  • classmating...mating.... hmm.. hahaha.

  • Throwing my $$ at my PC and 3DS screens!!

  • I definitely need to try out the demo.

  • Hmm, this one is interesting JRPG game, I like the part of Battle System.

  • Yess!!

  • ATLUS!!!! Please if you read this make games like this for consoles and make them for adult gamers as well, more mature content, there is a big market for this kind of games, i cant play this title because i don't have hand held device they seem to small for me, i cant play on it. There is a lot of fans out there that would hand their money with out thinking twice. This kind of games have not been explored yet that's what seems to be the problem. Even the ESRB rating guys don't help the situation they make it to hard fo companysr to create the kind of games the adult fans want. We need to do some thing.
