The lights are on
As promised, Konami and Kojima Productions have shared Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain gameplay from E3 2014. The 33 minutes of footage were streamed this morning as part of a larger program featuring series creator Hideo Kojima.
The gameplay demo is approximately 33 minutes in length, beginning at the 50 minute mark in the video. The demo focuses on the Fulton Recovery System, which lets you send soldiers, vehicles, and even sheep back to Mother Base as Big Boss infiltrates an enemy encampment to retrieve intelligence.
You’ll also notice some new stealth mechanics, uses for the cardboard box, and supply and support options like airstrikes and airlifts. For more on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, check out our coverage from E3. The title doesn’t have a release date yet, but we’re just as hopeful as you are that it will hit in 2015.
Be sure to also check out our coverage from the March 2014 issue, which featured Metal Gear Solid V on the cover.

Lol horse poop..
wow they went all out with the freedom! and I mean with options and gear everything! I can't wait to get my Xbox One.
This looks great and seems like it will play extremely fluidly. Say what you want about Ground Zeroes but I found it to be a fun game, and the best aspects have carried over. Of course, phantom pain will surpass it in every facet.

Gameplay looks great, I can't wait to play this. I'm also glad that the Fulton Recovery System and Mother Base is back. I really enjoyed those features when playing Peacewalker.
I can't wait for this game i adored Ground Zeroes, even with it being so short it was still awesome.
