Octodad: Dadliest Catch Arrives On PlayStation 4 Next Week

After a small delay, Octodad is making its way to PlayStation 4 early next week.

The game will be available on Tuesday, April 22, though admittedly it may have been on PlayStation 4 masquerading as Mercenary Kings all along and we never would have known.

If you're unfamiliar with the game, players take on the role of a yellow octopus in a suit who tries to pass as being human by performing human tasks – which prove difficult for a sea creature with no skeletal system.

  • I can't wait!

  • I actually completetly forgot about this game. Once I read the reviews it sort of just slid to the back of my mind. There was a demo for this on PS4 at a Best Buy near me but I only played it for like 5 minutes max.
  • FINALLY! Maybe I'll have mine out of pawn by then.

  • Please believe that if this is a $65 title... I will be waiting another 4 month before prcasing it.
  • It was fun fir like an hour, but got boring after that. The objectives didn't appeal to me. Happy that the PS4 players get a chance to play this finally. :)

  • I just don't get it. This game looks so stupid to me.
  • A little late, but IT IS NICE..

  • I think I will pass on this game.

  • Cool! Just in time for me to throw some tax money at it! I've been looking forward to trying this one out for a while now.

  • finally!!!

  • Since there has been major improvements since the pc version but since the PS4 version has been fixed since then. With the PS4 version being corrected from the feedback from the pc version and a PS Plus discount for this I will support this game.
  • This should make Reiner happy.
