The lights are on
In Ubisoft’s Child of Light, players will take on the role of the young girl Aurora, who is kidnapped from her home and must embark on a quest to return. Her firefly companion Igniculus will also have an important role to play, as shown in this new co-op trailer.
Controlled by a local second player, Igniculus can help Aurora on her quest by revealing hidden passages and disabling. He also helps during combat by slowing down enemies and healing Aurora and her allies.
Together they must bring back the sun, moon, and stars being held captive by the Queen of The Night in what Ubisoft describes as a coming-of-age story that features a lush, painted world and turn based RPG combat. Check out the co-op trailer below.
Child of Light will be released on April 30 for $14.99 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation Network for PS3 and PS4, Nintendo eShop for Wii U and Steam on PC.

Ah co-op is a cool feature to have for this game. This will know doubt be a must buy. I must say the indie games have been sensational!!!!!
I feel like I've been waiting for this game to release for an eternity.
So far this year, my excitement level for this game has only been eclipsed by my excitement for Monolith Soft's X. I have an inkling that Child of Light may become my next obsession.
This game looks amazing! I can't wait.
I'm going to get this game when it releases, but I'm even more excited for Valiant Hearts.
I like the art style of this game so i may just pick this game up.
I like that co op aspect of it, that art style is going to make me buy this and Valiant Hearts.
Looks interesting. Might have to look into this game once I see some reviews for it next month.
Starting to get tired of twists on "Winter is coming" and "The night is dark and full of terrors" in most recent trailers of games.
Local co-op RPG? Sweet!
