The lights are on
Ubisoft releases new gameplay footage that shows off open-world possibilities of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
Black Flag takes full advantage of the Caribbean setting and allows players to immerse themselves into the pirate lifestyle.
Upgrading your ship is just as valid as taking over enemy ships and crews and making them your own. If naval combat is not your style, it looks like there is plenty to find in the lush island scenery as well. And, there are always assassination contracts to take on for some extra gold. Shark fighting is also a popular pastime.
Do the new gameplay possibilities intrigue you? Let us know in the comments.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U on October 29. PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions are also planned for a later release.
this looks like it's going to be so much fun to play :D
This trailer sold me hardcore. I will be buying this on day one!
I am still really gun shy about this title. As I have posted on here before, I was so let down with AC-III, I fear it's just a COD symptom type game now.
crap, meet pants
If this has all the makings of a great pirate game and none of a good AC game I wouldn't care in the slightest.
I'm really excited for this one but why is there still no damn crouch button? the stealth elements of these games have always been flawed. Still going to have a blast with it and predict a high 9 score for review scores :)
Alright.. I am officially STOKED for this, they've won me over after the blan release of AC3.. Can't wait!!!
Good god I don't want to wait for it now. It looks like I'll be putting in ALOT of hours with this.
Cool, I hope this turns out to be a good game.
I have yet to play an AC game (and I really don't won't to). But seeing as how this is an open world game with pirates, I might check it out.
This game is looking fantastic. I don't know if it's that ACIII was such a let down or if this game is actually good. I may actually get this at or shortly after release instead of waiting like I did for ACIII.
i'm waiting till i t the ps4 for this, i have seen enough of the Ubi developer diaries to know they have added things on next gen that would break current generation fans and overheat the console (exaggeration) but on a serious note they did just pull me back into the series with this game play
Okay, I've been cautious about this game so far (maybe franchise fatigue), but after seeing some actual gameplay, I'm starting to get hyped for it!
So from previous land exploring to sea exploring. Great idea ,but what if people get sea sick. Hehe. I just hope the cities are HUGE with lots of targets
