Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

E3 2013 Footage With Commentary

You might have seen a developer driven demo of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag during Sony's press conference. The video below is different in two significant ways.

First, it includes commentary from game director Ashraf Ismail. Second, it doesn't stutter and crash right before the end.

Take a look at how the team at Ubisoft Montréal is using next-generation power to enhance the series' stealth aspects. Additionally, the transitions from land to sea open up mission design possibilities.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag arrives on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U on October 29. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are also in the works.

  • Dont write more about this game.. im getting tired of hearing about it.. JUST SELL ME THE GAME ALREADY!
  • Ha. I remember watching the live demo. It froze mid-cutscene on them. It was hilarious looking at how awkward the guy on stage with the controller was.
  • Without the stuttering and crashing it's just not the same.
  • no lag?

  • They're holding back. Their booth demos were WAY cooler.
  • They should've call this game Assassin's Creed:Tropical Freeze.

    HAHA get it cause...cause...forget it.
  • Well its gotta be better than AC3 right?
  • Hell Yeah...That was SWEET! Can't wait you can go ahead and give me a copy ASAP.

  • I really want this one it looks sweet.

  • Who sheathes their weapon mid battle. Come on thought we see better AI then that.
  • No way. An AC game with HARD enemies?
  • Anyone else notice how crappy the current gen looked compared to next get yall think watch dogs theif bf4 n all the others will b the same maybe thts y we've barely seen if at all any gameplay for current gen

  • I hope they bring back a lot of the stuff they took out after Revelations. The control scheme in ACIII bugged me. I just want to be able to run around without worrying about the character trying to climb every stair railing, light post, and crate along the way. The things like potions, upgrade-able armor, and all those sorts of bombs also really took from my enjoyment. I hope they don't go the way of Fable by removing features to make it more "fun and accessible".
  • This looks sick.. I was really bummed after AC3 and didn't have much interest in playing another installment but the rich setting and gameplay changes have really peaked my interest.
  • I'm just not feeling this game. I guess Assassin's Creed III just bummed me out on this franchise. I will get it though, just not on release day. I could wait a couple months.

  • i'm done with creed. just blah. is it just me? is anyone feeling this?
  • Looks very so ands so, I will get it once it hits the 20dollar mark. After how terrible, Revelations was I promised myself to never pay more than $20 for annualized mediocre Assassins Creeds THAT said I can wait to get AC3, and AC4 looks mediocre...
  • Hmm, seems like an interesting game, the gameplay trailer has shown the opportunies for stealth and combat. I look forward to hearing more about it.

  • I'm really excited for this game. I may be in the minority but I enjoyed 3 a lot. Now I'm ready to see some duel wielding sword fights & underwater gameplay.
  • This game looks like a masterpiece!
