Space Flight Sim Enters Beta

Elite: Dangerous, the successfully Kickstarted space flight sim, has entered its beta.

Kickstarted in early 2013, Elite: Dangerous let's players fly a spaceship and hyperjump between multiple locations across a massive galaxy.

Alongside increasing the volume of Elite: Dangerous' world to 38,000 cubic light-years, the beta also adds online mission system functionality, trade route mapping, file consumption, and an online single-player option.

  • 75 Dollars for a beta with no DLC is a pretty crappy deal. I was super interested in this until I looked at their website. Guess I'm stil waiting for Star Citizen

  • As of yesterday, this is actually a 50% price reduction. The price also includes a digital copy of the game on release.
  • i'm going STAR CITIZEN instead. It seems to have a lot more to offer in my opinion.
