Today, Sony Online Entertainment announced that EverQuest Next Landmark is moving out of alpha and into closed beta.

EverQuest Next Landmark takes a drastic step away from traditional MMO gameplay elements, many that were at least in part established by the original EverQuest, and moves closer to something with the creativity aspects of Minecraft.

If you're interested in trying the game out, you can apply to take part in the beta here. For our most recent preview on the game, head here.
