The lights are on
Capcom has announced that it's re-releasing Resident Evil 4 onto PC, in what the company is calling the ultimate HD version of the game. The game, which will be available at the end of February, will run at 60 FPS for the first time.
Capcom says visual improvements include sharpened text and texture upgrades on environments, characters, and other in-game objects. It's also been optimized for widescreen displays.
Players who preorder the game on Steam will get access to a 60-track soundtrack and a digital artbook. The game will unlock when it's released February 28.
Resident Evil 4 was remade as Resident Evil 4 HD on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and released in 2011. The game was originally released on the GameCube back in 2005.

I want this right now
Well, looks like I'm buying RE 4 for yet another platform.
RE4, to me, is a lot like Final Fantasy VII, where the game felt fresh and different, but retaining enough of what made the previous games so great in the first place. And then, in my opinion, every game that came after either RE4 in its series or FFVII in its, were progressively more and more awful. RE4 and FFVII are, what I would consider to be, their series' peak.
This is my favorite RE game. I'll have to pick up the HD remake for consoles later this year.
Knowing Capcom, they have RE4 Super Mega Epic Deluxe times 2 edition coming down the pipes.
I swear the original with graphics mods looked better...
But at least the controls will be fixed this time.
Seriously, look at the video, and then this modded old version.
Capcom could do much better.
Assuming it's $20 or less, I'll check it out. RE4 is one of my top ten, and I always hated how borked the PC port was.
Is it officially the most re-released game of all time yet?!
My brother will buy this,,,, cool
