Thief’s Queen Of Beggars Tells A Story Of A City In Peril

The Queen of Beggars has seen the city rise and fall, but not through her own eyes. Despite being blind, she sees all thanks to the rodents that scurry underfoot. The latest Thief Stories from the City trailer is told from her point of view.

How this mysterious old woman fits into Garrett’s world is not yet known, but she will play an important role when Thief arrives on February 25, 2014. You'll be able to play it on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.

You can see the first Stories from the City trailer, and the VGX trailer for more Thief. You can also read a recent preview of the title from New York Comic Con.

  • It'll be interesting to see how this shakes out, considering the notorius problems and the fact that this game already had a spiritual successor come out in the form of dishonored. Especially considering how similar this new one seems to it.
  • Can't wait for this game, only one I've ever pre-ordered!
  • That was very haunting. This has me interested in Thief now. Ok, I just watched gameplay annnd I am going to be down another $60.
  • Can't wait!

  • Hopefully, this game is awesome. I have my fingers crossed for it, but I won't pre-order it or anything. I'll wait for the reviews.
  • The old and the creepy seem to always have the answers but why do they have to be so cryptic about it?
  • That animation was pretty bad.
  • Glad a lot of good games are coming oout on the PS3/360 still... for now at least!

  • Man each trailer makes even more excited for this game. My top 5 for most anti***ted for next year.

  • The game looks great.

  • An old lady working behind the scene with her pet rats in a plagued city? Tell me nobody else is thinking Granny Rags. Anyway, looks awesome. I've been looking forward to this for a while.
  • Can it please be the end of February already?

  • Art style wise, this game gets to look more and more like Dishonored. Please don't end up being a copy.
  • Good lord, could this be any more LIKE DISHONORED? Yeah, yeah, Thief came first, but did Thief have a mysterious plague affecting the city or an old blind woman involved with rats and is probably more powerful then she is letting on? I mean come on, that's just way to specific to be a coincidence. Rather than using what they had already established in previous games like the Hammerites or the pagans, they have to use new stuff ripped off from Dishonored....
  • I fail to see the similarity with dishonored as some people say. Dishonored had steampunk elements, while Thief doesnt seem to have. Also, unless Garrett has supernatural abilities like Corvo/Daoud, he certainly will be very different(than them). Also Garrett is a thief, while Corvo/Daoud are assassin. The Game's focus is very different. The only thing consistent is the Victorian like setting (then again Dishonored has inserted the steampunk there)
