The lights are on
Polypusher Studios is readying a deeply atmospheric, first-person adventure title set on an abandoned island. Montague's Mount promises to explore horror and mystery without resorting to gore and violence. Based on the trailer below, it also evokes the feeling of the Dark Fall series.
The amnesiac protagonist's spoken lines, as voiced by actor Derek Riddell, add much to the proceedings. The script, which has a poetic quality helps weave the mystery.
The title is due out (with Oculus Rift support) on October 9, 2013, for PC, Mac, and Linux. Montague's Mount is also participating in the Steam Greenlight program, and you can vote for it here.

The only problem that I'm currently seeing here is that horrible Bloom. It looks as if my eyes are tired but when I look at something else it's so clear and crisp. This kind of Bloom gives me a headache lol.
It looks great. I would love to play it! I guess I'll just have to wait till it comes out and I have money.
EXACT TYPE OF GAME I LOVE!
Surplus of amnesia/reporter people going to creepy places these days. Not that I'm complaining, but I hope this doesn't turn into another "The Great Surge of Alien Movies".
This seems a perfect mix of creepy and puzzle. So glad to see all this Rift support.
This looks really good. Can't wait to play it.
It's really start to piss me off that the majority of great indie titles are only on PC!
Can anyone tell me if those subtitles are Gaelic? They look Gaelic.
