The lights are on
UPDATE: The developers have confirmed that the listing is real, but the date is incorrect. Night in the Woods will be launching on February 1, not January 18.
The original story is as follows:
Night in the Woods, the coming-of-age adventure-platformer by developers Infinite Fall, is coming to the Switch on January 18.
The news comes from a listing on the eShop which both confirmed the port and the release date, things that were not explicitly known until today. In October of last year, when other console ports fort he game were announced, it was strongly suggested by the game's Twitter account that a Switch version was on the way, but nothing had been said since.
The listing also confirms that the game will sell for the standard price of $19.99 and will take up 6.2GB on your Switch.

Great news for Infinite Fall and anyone who backs things on Kickstarter to see success stories like this. And it makes perfect sense since they're also working on bringing the game to mobile devices. Hopefully they get that same indie sales boost that other indies have gotten on Switch. And hopefully they'll start working on their next game soon.
I've been wanting to play this, it seems right at home on the Switch. Whiners be damned, more games on the Switch is a great thing.
Switch best current gen console confirmed.
6.2 GB!?! That's a pretty hefty storage space commitment. I was thinking about picking this up for the Switch but given the size, I may have to pass.
The more game's for the Switch the better, even if it's a port.
