The lights are on
Lost Sphear, the newest RPG from Square-Enix, has a demo available on the Switch, PS4, and Steam today.
The game comes from the studio that brought you I Am Setsuna, known as Tokyo RPG Factory, and has a stated goal of creating RPGs that invoke old-school design philosophies from the 16- and 32-bit eras. The demo has players joining protagonist Kanata and engaging in the Artefacts system to restore memories to affect the game's user interface and gain bonuses.
Lost Sphear is scheduled to release on January 23 on PC, PS4, and Switch and you can download the demo from the respective digital shops. You can also check out Kim's preview of the game here.

A Demo , Yes
Always down for another demo.
I am Setsuna is good but not great. The pacing of the game is weird for sure. I will try this demo out tonight. I'll be willing to get it if it turns out to be a more flushed out I am Setsuna. There were several areas they could have added more depth to in terms of the character customization
Am I the only one that gets this mixed up with Project Octopath Traveler all the time?
This is the game this fraud Hiroaki Yura of Project Phoenix "fame" wrote the music for.
