At Sony Japan's PlayStation press conference last night, Shuhei Yoshida, the president of Sony's Worldwide Studios, introduced a new Hot Shots Golf game for PlayStation 4. Although no gameplay was shown, we did see several aerial shots of the game's courses, as well as the high level of detail being applied to them.

More news tied to Hot Shots Golf's return is expected at this year's Tokyo Game Show, starting on September 18. The last entry in the series, Hot Shots Golf World Invitational, released on Vita and PlayStation 3.
