The lights are on
2K Sports and the WWE have announced their cover Superstar for this year’s most electrifying game in sports entertainment. John Cena, who just became world champion for the fifteenth time at last night’s Money in the Bank, will adorn the cover of this fall’s game.
Cena will be the first cover star for a WWE game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The official WWE Games Twitter account shared this image of the PlayStation 4 boxart to coincide with the announcement on Monday Night RAW.

Update: Here's a short video of Cena's cover shoot.
Our TakeFans love to hate John Cena, so expect cries for an alternate art contest (which WWE and 2K offered last year). After Bryan Vore’s coverage of the game from E3, I have to admit, I’m pretty excited to see what’s in store this year.
Pretty sure there's gonna be an alternate cover. And I didn't notice the new logo. Looks like they're officially changing it soon.
*Sigh*
Well, this sucks
Same ol' s*** smh
You'd think he'd be happier to be on the cover.
I guess i now understand why he won the title. I Guess with Bryant gone longer than expected , this is going to be Cena's year... again.i still wish it was like in the old day with multiple superstars.I would love to have Bad news and Ziggler on the cover.
*** me this is what its come to? , I'll probably still buy it but , what a *** cover.
Gross.
Maybe they'll make it reversible like this years.

No thanks I will pass.
Do you think he is looking up to find the Wizard who came from the moon? You could paste Cena's face right next to Grumpy Cat and Dinklage and it would fit perfectly.
Nobody loves to hate John Cena, we just hate John Cena. Dude's a no talent hack that's so passive-aggressive to the fans that it's disgusting. He's trash. There are way better wrestlers who could have been on the cover. Seth Rollins, Dolph Ziggler, Damien Sandow, Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, hell even Roman Reigns, even though he's barely a better wrestler.
