Free-to-play World of Tanks Blitz will be coming to iOS on June 26. We had a chance to check out the title at E3 2014 and see how the game's tank battles translate to the mobile world. A Wargaming unified account from titles like World of Tanks or World of Warplanes will link up to the mobile offering so that achievements and things of that nature can be shared.

The gameplay demo we checked out featured 7 vs 7 tank matches, perhaps a little faster and more conflict-oriented than the traditional matches from World of Tanks. Of particular note is that the UI elements are highly customizable, allowing players to position and size every element to suit varying playstyles. This feature makes the title particularly compelling, as the precise movement and aiming called for by the game could be difficult or uncomfortable without it.
