The lights are on
EA Sports has announced that NBA Live 15 will be going toe-to-toe with heavyweight rival NBA 2K15. Both titles will launch on the first Tuesday in October, and NBA Live 15’s executive producer knows his team has a lot to prove.
In a post on the EA Sports website, Sean O’Brien says that his team has “lofty goals” for the title, which will launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 7. It doesn’t sound like NBA Live 15 will have a major presence at E3, as gameplay won’t be revealed until July.
O’Brien is promising improved player models and lighting along with gameplay that is more realistic and has a better flow. “We know we’ve got a lot to prove this year,” he says. “We’ve got a solid plan in place to provide you with all the details and take the first steps to making NBA LIVE 15 a game you’re excited to play.”

Our TakeOctober continues to fill with huge titles and high stakes for the competitors. This basketball head-to-head is going to be interesting to watch, since EA’s hoops franchise has struggled in past years and didn’t reach the level of 2K’s annual powerhouse.
NBA Live 15 glitches out of our rooms.
Why do they have to make a basketball game? there's no way they will compete with the well established 2k basketball series. Do what 2k has never done well and make a good baseball game that could compete with MLB the show, as xbox does not have a baseball title yet.
gross
There my NBA Live!
Rest in peace.
Come on now. Live 14 had the best net animations I've ever seen. If that isn't a building block for success, I don't know what is.
I did not know that EA liked being sodomized.
Oh October is going to be paaaaaaaaaaacked!
Too proud to give up I guess.
EA should just fall back on making NBA Live smh.
why does EA wanna keep wasting money on the Live franchise. *** give me the money if you just interested in spending money
Holy crap is EA serious? Come on...There was no comparison last year, good luck.
I thought there were no more NBA Live games coming out; I always did tend to like NBA Live versus NBA2K
What I don't understand is how did EA release a game significantly worse than its predecessors? NBA Live 10 and 09 were good, just not as good as its 2K counterparts, but they were not bad. NBA Live 14 was bad and much less enjoyable than those games. How? I don't even know.
