The lights are on
A new title update has hit the console version of Minecraft. If you haven't played in a while, perhaps these additions and improvements will be enough to lure you back into the blocky world.
TU 14 adds new materials such as emerald and nether quartz, while enhancing the overall experience. Have you been bummed out about not being able to dye wolf collars? Have you lost sleep over the curious fact that ice didn't melt in the nether? Or maybe you've torn chunks of hair from your head over the pork chop drop rate. Regardless of your frustration, the update will take care of it. Probably.

Our TakeThis update takes care of a ton of things, but it leaves one thing unresolved: Where are the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game? In the same post as the update, Mojang's Daniel Kaplan says, "It is being worked on as we speak! I got no proper dates yet, but hopefully soon we can tell you!" That's great, because I'm looking forward to exploring the bigger worlds that the new consoles can support.
