The lights are on
According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, Microsoft is working on VR devices for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
The paper says through multiple sources that the company is working on a VR headset, and Microsoft has already filed patents mentioning virtual reality tech.
Sony is expected to unveil its VR headset for PlayStation 4 this week at GDC.

Our Take:That Microsoft is doing this is not surprising, but the devil is always in the details. Can it compete with the tech and hype headstart that Oculus Rift has? What's the price point?

Figured Microsoft would get in the action, Oculus VR is starting something big, and now Sony and Microsoft want to compete. I'm interested in the Oculus VR, there are some game worlds I would like to jump into.
Ok, I know what they are but what can they do as in games, movies, what?
I don't think we are at the point of needing VR. The tech I believe isn't there yet.
Yeah.. We still have a long way to go before this is actually comfortable and seamlessly runs games of your choice, but I'm still very excited, they need to hurry it up.
Sweet, I would probably try it
I'm freakin excited man. Not like the 3D TV thing we went through. This is the immersion I've been waiting for. I'm betting the company with the LEAST bulky headset wins. Whomever can make putting on their headset feel the most natural in a home environment will have the advantage. Of course, good specs count too.
I don't think this is a good idea. Let it go MS. IMHO, I think that VR is the new 3D. It'll be a fad soon forgotten.
