The lights are on
We've all had a few days to reflect since the surprise announcement of Hyrule Warriors (name not final) earlier this week. Now that the announcement has settled in, are you excited about the game?
It's not a collaboration that is totally insane. The Zelda series has always been one with action centered around swordplay, but it still seems odd to partner with Tecmo Koei on a game that presumably focuses entirely on that one aspect of the Zelda experience. The trailer we saw didn't show much outside of the action gameplay, but for all we know it could have some traditional Zelda puzzle solving and exploration. Based on what we've seen, however, and its pitch as a Zelda-meets-Dynasty Warriors game, I think it's fair to assume that most of the time you will be fighting and not doing much else.
I am curious to see and play the final product, but I don't think I am excited about the game. Are you excited for Hyrule Warriors? Do you already have a copy pre-ordered? Do you think the name will change? Let us know in the comments below.
