Controllers are what allow us to interact with our games, so it's important that they work and feel as good as possible. Each of the three current-generation platforms – PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U – has a slightly different approach to controllers. Which one is your favorite?
Sony and Microsoft are offering up modified versions of their respective PS3 and Xbox 360 designs, While Nintendo's GamePad is a more drastic change from its predecessor. However, the Wii U also has alternate options, like the Wii Remotes and the Pro Controller.
Everyone has their reasons for preferring one over the other. Maybe you like the button placement, or just the way it feels in your hands. Maybe you're a big fan of touch-sensitive surfaces. Whatever your rationale, make your case for the best current controller in the comments below.
Lastly, no saying "mouse and keyboard," PC gamers. This is a showdown between the controllers made by Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft. Don't worry, though. We'll give you a chance to talk about your other favorite controllers later today.
