The lights are on
Update: Titanfall's Ogre titan reveal trailer is now online.
Ever since E3, the Internet has been abuzz with talk of Respawn Entertainment's first title, Titanfall. The game swept up awards at E3 and Gamescom, and wowed fans in Europe and the US.
At tonight's VGX (formerly Video Game Awards), Respawn gave us another look at the title. The first trailer takes us to Titan Robotics for a look at a new Titan, the Ogre. The Ogre is a heavily armored mech that finishes opponents by ripping their arms off. The Ogre is, of course, a bit slower.
Want to know more? Call 1-888-88Titan. Titanfall is slated for a March 11, 2014, release date. It will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. A beta is under consideration, but has not yet been confirmed or slated for a specific date.
Our TakeTitanfall is a bright spot in what is shaping up to be a glowing March 2014. You'd best prepare your wallet, especially if you have any interest in the $250 collector's edition. I've played the game twice, and it's one of the two titles I'm most excited for in 2014.
