The lights are on
We really can’t explain this one. Since the dawn of the CD era, jewel cases have always been the same. The insert goes on the left. The disc goes on the right. Not anymore.
For some reason, at least one Xbox One case has switched things around. When you open the case, the disc is on the left.
Reader Ken McKown sent us this picture as proof, and we've seen others just like for different titles, like Call of Duty: Ghosts. What do you think? Is this an insignificant change that you can roll with, or does this throw your entire world view into upheaval?
Our TakeInserts are far less important than they used to be. The printed video game manual is all but extinct. Perhaps moving the disc to the other side is a way to subtly communicate the importance of the media. Or maybe it’s just change for the sake of change.
There's a glitch in the matrix. deja vu'
It's European
Why does this matter?
I thinks it's dumb. I mean it's not a big deal but to me it shows that Microsoft doesn't have common sence. This could just be an issue on some titles and not a permanent change. But it might feel akaward fos some of us that take the game out of the case
As long as the game is in there and it isn't scratched, I'm good.
I think it's pretty dumb design. The disc is constantly working against gravity. It's no longer just resting peacefully in a tray; it's just going to be hanging there, upside down, for all eternity.
Maybe they aren't prejudice against left handed people like the rest of the world!!!!
Hmm very interesting, but hey if the games in there and it works I don't really care where it's at in it.
I'll go with who cares? Lol
I'm thinking that its just an accident that happened in packaging the games. There isn't really any benefit I can think of that might otherwise explain it.
If they really wanted to shake things up, they would've had the case open from the top.
Or, the inside. Somehow.
how is this even a story?
is there really a wrong side on this matter? this is a non issue and a non news. already this gen, some games did that...i dont see a big deal here.
Craziness!
