The lights are on
EA Sports and Tiger Woods have ended their golfing partnership, but Tiger is currently looking for another deal elsewhere.
ESPN reports that the golfer is currently in negotiations with another company for the rights to use Tiger in a different video game.
Regardless of the fallout, EA Sports still retains the exclusive rights to the PGA Tour.

Our Take:Due to development/licensing costs (particularly for someone of Tiger's stature) and the relatively small market for golf games, I don't expect Tiger's new deal – whatever it ends up being – to take a big slice out of EA Sports series. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tiger's efforts culminate in a mobile title or something on a smaller scale.
