Magic: The Gathering - Tactics, the Sony Online Entertainment developed tactics game based on the Wizards of the Coast card game series, is shutting down next year.

According to an FAQ on the Magic: The Gathering - Tactics forums, the game will be shutting down next year on March 28. You can continue to play the game until then, but no new packs will be available for purchase after November 18.

Our Take
It's always disappointing to see game servers shutting down. The game originally launched in early 2011, which means it will have had a three-year run by the time it shuts down, which seems fairly reasonable for niche game like this.
