The lights are on
If you've been considering a purchase of Vanillaware's gorgeous hack-and-slash Dragon's Crown, you might want to head the store sometime in the next week. Atlus is putting both the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions on sale.
The PlayStation 3 version will be $39.99 and you'll be able to get it on Vita for $29.99. Both represent a $10 savings. The sale runs through October 15, 2013. Atlus has told us that the offer is only valid at participating retail locations, but we'll update if that gets extended to PSN. the offer is now live on PlayStation Network, and it includes the Dragon's Crown theme and voice pack.
Atlus has something for other platforms, too. Shin Megami Tensei IV on 3DS is currently on sale for $10 off. Additionally, Persona 4 Arena Ultimate edition on PSN will be on sale for $29.99.
Our TakeAtlus may have been acquired by Sega, but so far everything seems to be business as usual (just like we were told it would be). I'm starting to feel like it's ok to breathe that sigh of relief. Losing Atlus (or seeing a significant change in the publisher) would be a tragedy.
It seems like Atlus is always having sales on PSN and the eShop, now they're doing in in retail. All of those are great games. ^_^
Great game! I really need to play it more!
Unfortunately, I have only one other game in my budget this month: Lego Marvel. I do want to play this eventually, however.
If only bills didn't need to be payed.
I'm had this game since the release date and have been happy with it since then. ^_^
Fun times for all.
More Vanillaware, please. I'm still waiting for that Odin Sphere HD that was rumored with Muramasa (which came true on Vita!)
Yes! I literally just got my first 3DS!
this is a great game.
1x platinum trophy
200x hour played.
4x character to lvl 99
1x cleared labyrinth.
they noticed the game didnt sell and people passed the era of doing the same thing over and over...except for the fun grafics, i got so bored after an hour.
This game was well worth the full asking price, having it on sale makes it a no-brainer to get if you love sidescrolling beat em-ups, rpgs or hand drawn work :]. One of my favorites by far!
Any word on which retailers? No one has this price listed yet.
Does anyone know what stores are honoring this? I cant find it anywhere and I don't want a digital copy. I want retail.
I want this game
