Update: When Sony said the update was coming soon two hours ago, it wasn't kidding. The update is available now.

As you can see in the tweet above from the official PlayStation Twitter account, the update will address behind the scenes software stability features.
Our TakeI don't know if it counts as an update, but the big thing I want from my PlayStation Vita is more compatibility with classic PlayStation One titles. I want to to play my digital copy of Crash Bandicoot 2 on my Vita. I feel like I am not asking that much.

Update is up already, I'm updating as I write this ....
Sorry Kyle, just updated my Vita to this latest version and sadly, Crash Bandicoot 2 is still not available for it. Even tried the old "transfer from PS3" trick and even that didn't work.
yea crash and spyro games would be nice what gives? jesus psp had em since day one its been a year since the ps1 vita update and not only do w not have all the ps1 games that are on the ps3 psn but we dont have 7 of the best ones so it sucks even more i wanna say 8 but one is missing

come on sony its so annoying i cant have my crash fix on the vita do i really gotta whip out the ps3 or the psp to do so? damn
