The lights are on
The collectible card game market has exploded in the digital space thanks to the advent of free-to-play models, and Blizzard is polishing its own addition to the genre. Hearthstone, which is built upon the popular Warcraft aesthetic and mythos, has just entered closed beta.In the video interview below, you hear from executive producer Hamilton Chu and lead artist Ben Thompson about what sets Hearthstone apart from other collectible card games, how players will safely spend money during the beta, and the plans for launching the game later this year. And, yes, there are plans for a mobile version, but you need to watch the video for the details.
I think this will be great.
This game is fun and addictive but to bad the Closed Beta is Airtight hardly anyone is in it atm and they are only letting in another like 1k threw a FB contest.
and they need to rename this game Crackstone its that bad addictive Blizzard knows how to get people hooked. Game is also easy to get into i never played a card game before but this one is pretty simple and great it does have a Shop that you can buy Card packs but its all random cards that you can easyly get by playing the matches and crafting them yourself.
Really do hope this game comes to Tablets be a great app game.
I'll stick with MtG.
