The lights are on
The formerly PlayStation Vita exclusive Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational is coming to the PlayStation 3.
The PlayStation 3 version of the game will support the option to play with the Move, and all the Vita version's downloadable content and save files will be cross-compatible with the PlayStation 3 version. Vita and PlayStation 3 players will also be able to play against each other online.
The game will be available on July 23 for $19.99. For more on World Invitational, check out our review of the original Vita version of the game.

Our TakeHot Shots has traditionally been a franchise that always shows up to welcome new hardware, so it's a little confusing to see a sort-of new Hot Shots game releasing right at the tail end of the PlayStation 3's life. It seems almost like a waste of time to port the game, when the studio might be better suited trying to get a new game ready for the PlayStation 4. In any case, there is not much to complain about, especially for fans of the Vita version who want to play the game on a big screen.
