The lights are on
Most gamers are happy that the PlayStation 4 will be available for $399, but what exactly are you getting?
The $399 PS4 comes with a 500GB hard drive (matching that of the Xbox One), and rectifying a mistake with the PS3 – it also comes with a headset. Unfortunately it's mono. It will also come with a single DualShock 4 controller, an HDMI cable, and a USB charge cable.
One thing that you won't get out of the box is the redesigned PlayStation Eye camera which was highlighted in the system's reveal in February, and will reportedly retail for $59 (as will an additional controller).
While there aren't any big surprises here, it's good the hard drive is of a competitive size.

An HDMI controller? Hahaa good ole GI. I reserved mine first thing this morning. Oh yeaaaaaah!
Sony did the right thing and leave the new PS Eye out as an option, I will never buy another peripheral until I'm convinced there's compelling software for it.... PS move I'm looking at you!
I'll probably buy the camera later on once it drops in price or it comes bundled with some game.
