The lights are on
Earlier today, Microsoft announced expanded ESPN content while you watch sports, and now it is also bringing in the NFL to give sports lovers more to absorb.
The NFL is partnering with Microsoft to let football fans access stats and fantasy football features as they watch games live. Smartglass and Kinect users can interface with exclusive content via these utilities similar to how the ESPN content surfaces via the system's Snap mode side panel.
ESPN sports reporter Darren Rovell has tweeted that the Microsoft/NFL deal is worth $400 million over five years.

So will we be signing up for xbox uno's pay to play for nothing fantasy league as well?
i guess i would want to see the chicago bears stats while they crush the Pats..
This will be the best thing ever, lets me track fantasy whilw watching my games. Wont need to be on my laptop any more
And?
And no one in the whole wide world outside of USA cares.
And what the *** is a "fantasy football" anyway? American handball with D&D goblins?
Lemme guess...more TV stuff?
Yea. This i meant for U.S. Customers. I wonder how Europe and the rest of the world will do. They must be disappointed because they didn't see much that can excite them. This live tv stuff that microsoft promotes might not even work in some countries.
Nfl sunday ticket would be a better option for sports nuts. Why on earth would I pay to see highlights and stats when I got Nfl network and NFL.com? if they let you see highlights and stats for free it would make sense, but we all know better.
