The lights are on
Watch Dogs was announced back at E3 last year, but there remains a great deal of mystery about the title. Today, Ubisoft announced that the last of the mysteries will be lifted on November 19th, when Watch Dogs is scheduled to release in North America.
The modern-day urban thriller is releasing on a bevy of consoles, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, and “other next generation consoles,” which virtually assures we’ll see the game on the next Microsoft platform.
The new trailer shows off main character Aiden Pearce as he uses his smartphone to interact with the various electronic systems across the city of Chicago, like security cameras, public transportation systems, and traffic lights.

Excited to get this one on PC even though I'll have to use "uPlay". At least Ubisoft still sells their new games on Steam though, unlike EA.
Looks like so many kinds of awesome sauce.
You this game, GTAV, and Saints Row 4. I may end up stuffed with sandbox worlds. This doesn't even go with BF4.
Reminds me of CTU tech from 24. I miss Bauer :(
This year in video games has been amazing and it doesn't seem like it's gonna slow down with more awesome titles like Watch Dogs on the way.
Is going on the list of games to get. the opening running sequence was fantastic.
Awesome, this game is lookig great,
This game is looking pretty good, but I'm more excited for GTA V.
Holy sh!t? Ubi$oft is actually going to release this? They aren't going to think: "Nah. Push it back, we need another Assassin's Creed!"
Surprising.
PS4 YES!
Still not really sure what the plot is for this game, but it looks fun.
I have very high hopes for this game.
More hyped up for this game than GTA V or SR4. Definitely gonna get Watch Dogs and GTA V either way. And the quote at the end of the trailer, was rather epic.
As a resident of Chicago for about a decade, I know for a fact that Aiden Pearce is obviously referring to the corruption of Mayor Rahm Emmanuel. ("I'll turn their city against them." About time!) Looks like a fantastic game.
SWEET!
So happy I already have this & AC4 pre ordered. This will be so much fun!!
Calendar marked!
I find out that Watch Dogs is being released on my birthday? I really hope Ubisoft doesn't delay this.
Sweet, this will give me a couple of months to get through GTA V (LMAO at that statement...it'll take me a year or so to get over GTA V hahaha). I'm glad to see that there's more games heading in this direction. Rockstar has had it right all along: GIVE CONTROL BACK TO THE PLAYERS. Linearity is so 90s haha
