The lights are on
This morning, Nintendo made a number of exciting 3DS announcements including a new Zelda, a new Yoshi's Island, a new Mario Party, a new Mario vs. Donkey (now Mario and Donkey Kong), and others. Here are all the new trailers that Nintendo has been nice enough to officially release.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
The Legend of Zelda

2 zelda trailers and no yoshi one... go to ign people
The Legend of Zelda for me. ^^
I don't have a DS but I must say that is an impressive lineup of games. Also I've noticed Mario games can be a little weird sometimes, and it totally got weird with this one. (in a good way!) haha
Another great Nintendo Direct! I'm sure to get a few of these games when they come out.
That Game & Wario trailer was hilarious.
need a 3DS...
Enough milking that old and ugly cow nintendo!!! Man up you sissies!!
Can't stand Mario and Luigi no more!! Enough is enough!!! For Christ sake!!
Wow. After seeing THIS I'm happy to be a 3DS-Owner again O.o Dude... why did they wait so long with all of this?
April 17th: A 3DS day of awesome.
Why do I not have a 3DS!!!!????????????
Zelda and Mario Dream Team look awesome. Although I personally love Spirit Tracks (I kinda wish A Link to the Past 2 here will allow for stylus controls like that game in addition to button presses), this looks amazing too. 2D games are some of the most effective on 3DS, and while this uses 3D assets, it's still pretty 2D. So things like the bones you block flying up at the screen are going to be awesome to see.
Mario Dream Team has some of the most amazing and fluid sprites I've ever seen. I genuinely couldn't tell if they were 2D or 3D for awhile - of course, genuine 3D elements in the game make it harder to tell. But that series is awesome and this one looks to bring some fun, inventive stuff to the table. Can't wait! First Paper Mario hits 3DS, now Mario & Luigi... would it be too much to ask for the "third pillar" of Mario RPGs - Super Mario RPG - to get a sequel on 3DS next? Don't ask Square-Enix to do it, as they suck now. But I'm sure someone like Mistwalker, Level 5 or Tri-Crescendo (underrated studio, for sure) could pick up the torch and do an isometric Mario RPG in the same vein.
Their games are always so cute!
That Mario & Luigi game continues to grasp my attention the more I see of it.
