Insomniac Delivering Fuse Demo Closer To May 28 Launch

In case you missed it, Insomniac streamed over half an hour of their upcoming four-player cooperative title Fuse last week. Don't worry, we've got you covered. Following the gameplay demonstration, the developers fielded a number of frequently asked questions on the official website.

For those that are feeling trepidatious about Fuse due to the change in name (it was originally announced as Overstrike) and apparent homogenization that the title has undergone, fear not. You'll have a chance to check out a demo closer to the May 28, 2013, release. For those that hate punching in 16- and 25-digit codes, you'll be happy to know that there is no online pass for the game. If you do love your strings of random characters though, you can pre-order for some DLC.

The FAQ goes on to discuss Fuse's sense of humor and the "LEAP" mechanic, which allows players to make use of the entire four-person team even when there are fewer humans in the game. The description of the system reminds me of Microsoft's Brute Force, which you may not remember because it wasn't quite the smash hit the publisher was hoping for.

Fuse arrives next month for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
