Continuing to build its formidable stable of independent games, Sony announced two more small team games are headed to PlayStation 4.

Blacklight: Retribution is a free-to-play shooter from Zombie Studios that came out on PC last year. Primal Carnage: Genesis is an episodic single-player adventure title from Lukewarm, which is a drastic departure from its multiplayer centric predecessor.

These two titles may just be the start of an indie flood considering the flexibility Sony is offering developers. At an event called the PlayStation Indie Arcade, Sony outlined its reconfigured approach to its marketplace. Once they are approved as a PlayStation-licensed self-publisher, developers can determine their own release date and price point for their games.
