The lights are on
It's a bit old by Internet standards (four days), but it doesn't make it any less powerful.
It's a simple premise: cut together a bunch of clips of video game characters moving to the right with a shaky cam, add some stirring orchestration, and voila! Add a little bit of despair around the middle to create a sense of achievement, and you have an effective YouTube video that is incredibly nostalgic and surprisingly powerful all at once.
