The lights are on
Normally these types of tweets would just be links from a producer pointing fans to interesting articles about the games they've worked on, but this one is a little different.
David Cox, a producer for Konami working with the Lords of Shadow series, tweets links to interesting articles about his game often, but this tweet was directed towards a site with a write-up about wanting to see a sequel to Lords of Shadow. The link was offered with a message from Cox: "Tweeted without comment :)"
Maybe I am looking for subtext that doesn't exist, but that comment about not commenting seems like a hint to me. Or maybe I just really want to see a sequel to Lords of Shadow, and will grasp at anything that seems remotely like a hint. This isn't the first time he has dropped subtle clues about more Castlevania.
Thanks to Aaron for the news tip!

Still haven't played this yet...gotta get on that
Never got around to the first one. Maybe that should be my new year's resolution.
Mr. Cox:
Please just stop wrapping your ankle around mine under the table and just put your hand on my leg already.
I looooved the first one, I would love to see a second installment. For anyone who hasn't played the first one, I highly recommend you do.
I loved the first game, and I would eagerly pick up the sequel.
That would make me a happy man, happy man indeed! I imagine my good buddy born4this feels the same way!
Well guys be prepared for Leon Belmont this time, hope that :)
En Sut DRACUL!
Everything about Lords of Shadow was completely AMAZING, especially the art direction and the music. I can't see where they could go wrong with a sequel.
Nice! Just started playing the first one this week, so, good timing!
I know there hasn't been an official announcement, but hadn't they already said that there would definitely be a sequel due to the success of LoS?
I too hope there's a LoS 2 in the works, LoS was another fantastic entry in a fantastic series and Robert Carlyle's portrayal of Gabriel lent just the right amount of depth and believability to the character, I don't think I've ever empathized with a Castlevania protagonist like I did with Gabriel.
One thing I do hope they change is the format in which they introduce DLC. The LoS base game was good but both of the DLC additions felt tacked on and unnecessary. While it was nice that they tried to extend the game's story, neither of the DLC additions felt finished and Resurrection's ending left me with more questions than answers.
I loved the story in LoS. We need more like it. I'll be looking forward to this.
