The lights are on
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is coming to theaters May 2, but the film's licensed mobile game is coming next week. Now we have a new trailer and screens to see how Gameloft's version of the game compares to its console counterparts.
The answer is "surprisingly well." it looks to draw heavily from past console Spider-Man games, letting players web-sling their way across an open-world Manhattan in a story that expands on that of the film. Expect numerous villains from Spidey's impressive rogues gallery to make an appearance, characters like Venom, Green Goblin, Kraven the Hunter, and of course, Electro.
Spider-Man's signature acrobatic fighting style is also on display in the above trailer, as well as several alternate costumes for the wall-crawler to wear. You can download the game on April 17.

It probably took a lot of work but still....it doesnt look good. Who knows ? We may be surprised in the end.
Another $7 game loaded with IAP's? No thanks...I've learned my lesson with Gangstar 4 and the first Spiderman game.
Jesus Christ, Black Cat, your face!
Wow... this is a mobile game? I thought it was for consoles! That puts a whole new spin on things, actually. Color me impressed.
I went to Gameloft's focus group beta test for this game last month. Its a pretty cool game. Glad i got to try it months before everybody else
