The lights are on
One of Sega's most iconic franchises, Crazy Taxi, is being reinvented for mobile devices in the form of Crazy Taxi: City Rush. You can check out the game's appropriately zany announcement trailer below.
This newest iteration of the over the top, arcade driving game will use one-touch controls to allow players change lanes, turn corners, and in true Crazy Taxi fashion, hit huge ramps to send your taxi soaring through the air. It will also feature extensive cab customization options both to increase the performance of your cab and it's visual appeal. Crazy Taxi: City Rush is being developed by Hardlight Studios and will be free to download and play.
City Rush has already soft-launched in a limited number of regions, with a full global released planned for later this year. To coincide with the announcement and as a "thank you" to fans, Sega is making the original Crazy Taxi free on the iOS App Store and Google Play for a limited time.

I love Crazy Taxi, can't wait to play this, and I don't really play mobile games
Sounds like another endless runner...sigh
This is painful...
The link to the Google Play store is not the Sega Version
I am not a mobile gamer. But i just wanted to say that they should put their strength in to making quality game for consoles and pc's rather then mobile free to play, it will make them much more money.
I loved playing this game on Sega Dreamcast. It was so much fun to drive around and avoid everything.
