I don't like giving myself titles, but it would be silly of me not to call myself an expert on stupid science fiction shark movies. I missed Sharknado last night (and likely won't watch it until it hits Blu-Ray), but I have seen a ridiculous number of films about mutated, killer sharks.
If Sharkado's camp filled your eyes with tears of confusion and delight, and you walked away from the film wanting more, run out and pick up Mega Piranha immediately. The artwork above shows a giant piranha eating an aircraft carrier. That happens. They also leap out of the water to destroy buildings and vehicles. This film has one of the best (read worst) endings to any story about killer beasts, and the special effects look like they were done by Dan Ryckert in Photoshop. If you get around to watching it, and still want more, I think you'll also dig Sharktopus, Megapython vs. Gatoroid, and Dinocroc vs. Supergator. Let's not forget about Megashark vs. Giant Octopus, either. That film kicked off the shark craze.
Below is a trailer for each film mentioned. NOTE: VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED. GIANT MONSTERS EAT PEOPLE.
