The lights are on
Namco Bandai has announced that the strategy RPG Project X Zone, which features characters from Namco, Sega, Capcom, is heading to North America summer.
The 3DS title includes more than 50 characters from 29 franchises. Players use pairs of characters to navigate the world, enlisting the help of another character for battle assists. Namco says the game includes solo and support attacks, cross hits, and finishing moves. In the story, a time rift opens up, which offers a somewhat tenuous explanation as to why characters from such a wide variety of games and eras are able to stand next to one another. HIghlighted franchises include Mega Man X, Darkstalkers, Tekken, Shining Force EXA, and many others.
"Project X Zone is the first title to ever combine such a large cast of characters from a varied list of game franchises into one grand adventure,” says Carlson Choi, vice president of marketing at Namco Bandai America. “Developing a cohesive game and storyline to encompass all of these great characters and their battle-styles was a huge challenge that has paid off greatly with the creation of a truly unique and groundbreaking gaming experience.”
The game is set for a summer release on the Nintendo 3DS.

valkyria 3 characters without the actual game ever getting localized
Can not wait man. I'm not a fan of handhelds exactly, but the 3DS has given back, and then some. This game looks like complete madness. I'm really looking forward to it.
Also, I wish they'd stop showing Rival Schools(Project Justice)characters in some form or another without giving me a proper sequel. thetangential.com/.../sad-batman.jpg
Hmm we'll see how this actually is b/c if anyone like myself had the chance the play namco x capcom on Japanese PS2 then you'll know just how much gutter trash that game was. If this game has some of the same mechanics it could end up being disappointing
Darn and I just imported it. Oh well it was only $25 so stilla good deal. I'm surprised it's being released here. The game had an 85% price drop this month, so it isn't selling to well in Japan. Be interesting to see how it will sell.
Oh god my summer is going to be so great. Xillia being announced in February will make it complete <3
something told me that this was too big of a crossover to not bring to the US. With this, the new pokemon, and monster, it's a great time to buy a 3ds.
So, are there going to be any xenomorphs, seeing as Sega makes the Aliens video games
This Looks pretty awesome!
I do wish we would get valkryia chronicles 3 though...
I've been following this game closely and it seems pretty interesting. It does look fun, and I plan on picking it up on release.
