    1. I have a Nexus 10, everything appears blank

As of June 14, 2013, only the July and June 2013 issue is compatible with the Nexus 10, we will be republishing back issues up to at least December 2012 in the next few weeks to accommodate Nexus 10 readers, sorry for the inconvenience.

    2. What Android device does GI support

As of June 2013, the Game Informer Android app will run on any Android tablet 1024x768 pixels or higher. But please do note that for the most optimal viewing experience, a tablet 8.9" or larger is recommended. To determine if the viewing experience is acceptable for you, please download our app and view the free issue that is currently available

Another option you can consider in the meantime, we are participating in the new Google Play Magazines app or Zinio Newstand, the content is a replicate of our print edition. It is available on smaller tablets and phones. Although they’re two separate products, and we can’t merge your subscriber account right now, you could download that app and purchase the single copies while you’re waiting.

    3. Do you offer an epub print version of your magazine in digital format?

Not at the moment, but if there are enough demand for it,we will consider providing this to our reader in addition to the media-rich interactive edition.

    4. I am stuck on the How-to screen

If you are presented with the How-to page when you launch the app, please press and hold your finger on the screen until the on-screen menu appears, you will then have the option to go to the store, library or sign-up to your account if you are a subscriber.

    5. The magazine does not fit the entire screen

As of GI app version 1.0.5, your issue should now fit the height of your screen, letterbox on the left and right is normal as our magazine's format's aspect ratio is 4:3.

    6. I have an HD tablet, the content appears soft

As of GI app version 1.0.5, your issue should scale to fit the height of your screen, but at the moment, most back issues are published in regular resolution, not HD resolution, so when the content is scaled, they will appear soft. As of June 15, 2013, The July and June 2013 issue of Game Informer is available in HD format, however, due to the increased resource demand of HD content, your tablet may struggle to render the pages, if that is the case, please continue using the regular resolution content.

    7. My issue gets stuck importing or takes forever to import

Please check that you have a strong wifi connection, and then let it run. It will take a while to fully download, as we’ve chosen to embed lot of videos, which of course pushes up the file size.

We are aware of a bug that will randomly appear if your device sleeps during the downloading or importing process, although this has been resolved for the most part in the latest build since version 1.0.4, it may still take some time to import the issue to your tablet.

    8. I can access the menu, but I am not seeing anything on the store or library

Please try to clear the application's data and cache in the Android's setting and relaunch Game Informer app

    9. As a subscriber to GI, will I be able to download the Google Magazine edition?

As of June 2013, The Google Magazine edition is still separate from the GI subscription offering, we will keep you posted when the status has changed.
