Okay. I thought I knew what I was in for when I played Bloodborne. I knew I'd like it a lot. maybe even love it. But it has exceeded every expectation that I had. The atmosphere is out of this world good. Little touches that remind me of REmake. Like individual wall sconces that have candles in them with flickering flames. Volumetric fog in certain locations. Beautifully dark and Gothic architecture. Areas with colorful flowers leading to a forested area. the gameplay is stellar as well. It's going to feel a lot different going back to the slower pace of past Souls games. The quickness of movement is liberating. I haven't even beaten it yet and I've put in a lot of hours. If the quality keeps up like it is, this will officially replace Demon's Souls as my favorite From/Miyazaki game. It's that good.

This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition
