  • My Full Thoughts On Xenoblade Chronicles X

I didn't intend to write a review of Xenoblade Chronicles X when I was playing through it. I knew Xenoblade X was a strong contender for my annual top 10 favorite games of the year blog so I thought I would try to finish it before January. Even after finishing the story at the 70 hour mark I felt the paragraph I'd soon write for my blog would be enough, but after concluding what I wanted out of the post game and reflecting on my experience I rapidly came to feel that I wanted to more substantially share my thoughts. More

I recently finished playing through Xenoblade Chronicles X and I'm excited to share all of my thoughts about Monolith's massive RPG.

  • Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta Impressions

I've been a huge fan of Uncharted multiplayer ever since I played the beta for Uncharted 2 that came with the original Infamous. After playing through the Uncharted Collection (which was excellent!) I've been eagerly anticipating the Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta. I enjoy playing the Uncharted multiplayer betas not only to get a feel of the new multiplayer (and to an extent Nathan Drake's next adventure), but because it's really exciting how the limitations of the beta foster strong competition in Uncharted's already fast paced competitive multiplayer. I've played about seven hours of Uncharted 4's multiplayer beta at this point and I'm eager to share what I think about all of the new additions and changes. More

  • Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Review

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is a 2D crossover fighting game for PS3 and Vita that features characters from Dengeki Bunko light novels and stages inspired by Sega's video games. You might not be familiar with Dengeki Bunko, a light novel publishing imprint in Japan, but you are probably familiar with some of the franchises it houses that have expanded into anime, manga, games, and beyond, such as Sword Art Online, Durarara, and A Certain Magical Index. More

Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is a 2D fighting game that features characters from Sword Art Online, Durarara, A Certain Magical Index and more. Read my review to see why I think its accessibility and unique focus on offensive play make it stand out for both anime and fighting game fans.

  • Ten Wii Games I Want Downloadable On Wii U

In January, Nintendo decided to expand its Wii U Virtual Console line up by offering downloadable Wii games. In America things started off strong with Super Mario Galaxy 2, the Metroid Prime Trilogy, and Punch-Out!! all releasing within a two week period. After that strong debut, Nintendo abandoned their new initiative in America for months even though Japan and Europe continued to receive new games regularly. More

Now that Nintendo is once again bringing downloadable Wii games to the Wii U in North America, I would like to share my list of the ten Wii games I most want to see made available.

  • The Games I Played At San Diego Comic Con 2015

For the third year in a row, I went to Comic Con ticketless with a friend. This year there was an overwhelming amount of things for people to do without a badge, which made managing your time very important. Most exciting for me is all the game demos available for anyone to play. As I did last year, I wanted to share my experiences with the demos I got to try out. More

Check out my thoughts on the seven games I played at San Diego Comic Con this year and also my thoughts on another game I played at Anime Expo!

Last night I played through Episode Duscae 2.0 which is the revised version of the demo for Final Fantasy XV based on fan feedback that overhauls the combat and camera and adds a good amount of new content. I have played through the original Episode Duscae demo twice, once on the Grind Time live stream and a second time on my own at home More

  • My Top 10 Favorite Games of 2014

Now that it has been a few days since 2014 concluded, I'm ready to present my top 10 favorite games of 2014 blog. Every year I always enjoy assembling and sharing my top 10 favorite games of the year blog, so I'm eager to dive right into it. The ten games I chose are the games that resonated with me the most in 2014 and are ranked accordingly. In order for a game to be eligible I had to have finished the game, so a few games I was unable to finish had to be eliminated from consideration such as the official US PC release of the visual novel Steins;Gate and the 3DS RPGs Bravely Default and Persona Q. Regardless, I feel comfortable that I chose the ten games I enjoyed the most this year.
