I have been a life long gamer and would consider myself a hardcore gamer. I enjoy all the different genres and I am open to playing anything. My first system I owned personally was the first year the NES came out I received one for Christmas. After that I got just about every system that came out along with tons of games. I cannot even imagine how many games I have played in the last 24 years. (Yikes thats scary to think about).
Most recently I had a Xbox360. Well like many before me I got the red rings under warranty, then received a refurbished one which got the death rings one month after the 3 year warrenty expired. So not making a ton of money I couldn't afford to get a new one. I did receive a new Laptop for my birthday from my girlfriend's mom, so I could at least play some Call of Duty. Playing on the CPU is just not the same after a lifetime of gamepads.
New 360! With the new Jasper Chip. My fingers are crossed this one will last.
Luckily for me, my GF of 5 years now is also into gaming so it makes our home life much more manageable. Although she has to be patient with me as I recently got into doing some mapping for COD and I am really enjoying it (my hero pictures will be screens of maps I am working on).
Hope to somehow get a 360 before MW2 comes out, as I do not think my laptop can handle it.
See you all around
