The lights are on
While this game is certainly bad @$$, and I am looking forward to the sequel, I must say there are a fair number of bugs (like against Shaak Ti I was knocked through the floor by the creature and was able to simply keep lightning her until it prompted the interactive cut scene).
This is a great game. It has great attention to detail, a good story and good game mechanics. The only negative for me was that sometimes I got tired of traversing the large map in search of the current mission objective with only the occasional skirmish to liven the walk up.
After beating the campaign on normal over a two week span of evening play after work, I started the multiplayer modes. This experience is deep in both regards to graphics, presentation and excitement. I played the game as my primary goto game for the entire year until CoD WaW was released. Because of this game, I still have yet to beat Bioshock.
Great story but I would like to see some more depth of character. Horde mode is stellar. Standard multiplayer leaves a bit to be desired. Anyone who likes FPS games will enjoy this game.
This is easily the best game I have ever played. The graphics are phenomenal, the soundtrack is amazing, the storyline is killer and ties in with the first game, the multiplayer is very complete. I like too that you can earn money in the game to purchase multiplayer "stuff" after you beat the story mode. I sure hope Naughty Dog keeps Uncharted games coming.
