  • Have you ever noticed that really great games tend to have a very clear vision and focus? Its like these games said to us, “This is what I am. I’m excelling at it. Accept me for who I am… or don’t.” Now I’m looking at the huge games coming in 2015: Witcher 3, Batman: Arkham Knight, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Final Fantasy XV (hopefully), Metal Gear Solid: Phantom Pain, Uncharted 4, and the list just runs on. I look at these games and I say, “I SEE you. I see what you’re doing and I respect it.” I think “bad” games (opinion varies from person to person) are games that might’ve had a focus but it got lost in the long run. Sometimes I wonder if some developers are even self-aware of the game they are making… However… Family Feud on the PS2 is still the worst game of all time and that game had a pretty clear focus: Be a broken, glitchfest that caused young guys named Morris (me) to get frustrated. Lol seriously, screw that game. on 26 Dec 2014 9:21 AM
  • I should write a blog about the tightest budgets in games. Battlefield 3's sliced grenade-launcher cross-hair would be a perfect example; they were already past their budget, which is why they could only afford half of a cross-hair. on 19 Jan 2014 9:30 PM
  • My mom is picking up a 1-year PS+ subscription for me(yay for moms who don't make me go shopping), but since PSN is still being stupid, I'll just have to sit and stare at the card till it's fixed. And maybe play some Mario Kart 8 or Persona 3... Which reminds me... What was your favorite gift you got this Christmas? I got this sweater with a gnome on it, which is my favorite so far. on 26 Dec 2014 11:22 AM
  • Best Birthday Ever! Thanks you guys for helping me celebrate such a day! :D on 24 Jul 2014 8:19 AM

  • Enjoying a nice holiday break playing, reading about, and talking games. What kind of "legendary" loot did everyone get from Santa? I got CoD Ghosts and some giftcards to use on games-that's probbaly more like a "white drop" by comparison to some of you:) I'm thinking of obtaining GTA V and Sunset OD with my GCs and cash. I am tempted to get DA:I but the combat looks hokey. Thoughts? on 26 Dec 2014 11:29 AM

  • Is the Kinect-less Xbox One really that great for the long term? Time will tell, but they've really lost a key differentiating factor that I've heard many praise, and now any potential invention in the motion control space is truly effed. The One's Kinect was super advanced and had huge potential, but no dev will gamble on an optional device that won't guarantee a compatible audience. Cliff Bleszinski once said that if MS sucked up the bad press and slower sales of the online dependent version for a couple of years, they would be reaping the benefits of a future-proofed platform in the long run. After all, Sony sold PS3s at a loss for 4 years, but they turned it around by adding to the platform, not reigning things in out of denial. They grew the services until they were attractive and patiently watched the cost go down. I wonder if Microsoft even knows where they're going anymore. on 13 May 2014 11:38 AM
  • I just picked up Pikmin 3, and I'm a die hard fan for Pikmin, and I can't get my game to work. I tried the update and all that happens is that it sticks on the load screen (3 Pikmin standing on a branch with a black circle surrounding). I want to play the game, I'm absolutely dieing. If my game disc doesn't work I literally might cry, I wait 8 years and this is how I'm treated universe :( on 4 Aug 2013 2:34 PM
