Well, it's a day late out of the week for the WGWC, this is due to me having a bit of an illness
I decided to wait an extra week for the Writers Guild challenge before announcing the next part mostly due to the lack of participation, and it didn't help. There are three entries. Two are from the same person who created them before WGWC took a break, and the other was done by me. I have a few ideas as to why people have refused the challenge, I think the main point being the lack of focus on one topic, but I digress. The featured blogger happens to be Orochi! Orochi writes under the challenge of Triumph, and explains his bittersweet "victory" over his mental-physical problem of epilepsy. He compares his situation to that of one of his favorite characters, and does an amazing job explaining his reasoning and waxes personal. I'm only posting the first page here (It's 4 pages long) but you can catch the whole thing HERE Also, as a last minute edit. Make sure you add WGWC into the TITLE of your blog so that we can find it easier.
I have never been much one for relating my hopes to others, along with my beliefs. I have very strong beliefs, but I don't share them unless asked, but I suppose that lends a bit of a mystery around me and what exactly drives me to be a writer and to work with the arts as much as I do now. The funny thing about this mystery is: I'm not too sure why I do this myself.
Possible spoilers, they're minor.
Advertising campaign and I have had many adverse confrontations throughout existence. They showed me toys I could never have (Parents said I would receive them on my birthday, but this was decades away), they interrupted the flow of every show on cartoon network, leaving me to wonder if Yugi would survive another encounter. They have also made me hate myself for living by showing me children who are starving in Africa. Because of this, I believe I'm justified in both my hatred for the subject, and labeling most that air as trash. The only good thing that comes with sifting through a mire is how much easier it is to find the diamonds.
