Gaming started for me when I got the PSone for Christmas one year, I had no clue about what videos games were or how to choose a good one at the store. Because I was young I could only play young people games and I ended up with Seaseme Street stuff racing games and Harry Potter. Which I loved but I didn't know what a good game was. I eventually racked up 19 games for it. I then got a PS2 for Christmas and have about 15 games for it, still fairly crappy games. I never looked a expensive games because I was looking for the most games I could get with 20 bucks which ended up with me not being too into gaming.
On my 13th birthday I had a choice between getting the Wii Xbox or Ps3. I chose Ps3 for many reasons but also out gut feeling. My first game was Lord of the Rings Conquest, which I fell in love with and would play for hours and hours. I finished the single player campaign in 4 hours and started to play online. I have to say I was not a prodigy at first, but I worked out that archer was my strongest class and I learned the maps inside out and studied how to play the different modes to their highest potential. I WAS HOOKED! I am not sure if you will believe this or not but I did hold the number 1 spot on the leaderboard for Conquest for a week and top ten for all modes for about a month.
